Origin: United States

Characteristics: Color is a warm grey to tan. Often referred to as “silver walnut”. Texture is soft. Good logs are very hard to come by. Many logs have knots, mineral streaks, bark pockets etc making it desirable for rustic applications.   
 

Uses: Architectural woodwork and fine furniture.
