Origin: North America

Characteristics:  Light-reddish wood with a fair amount of blonde sapwood. Has a pungent odor. Logs tend to be small diameter. It is generally sliced thicker because it can be difficult to work with because it is knotty and brittle.

Uses: Closet liners and fine furniture.
