Latin name: Torresea cearensis, Torresea acreana

Origin: Central/South America

Characteristics: Yellowish to light brown heartwood with high luster. Some of this material has been fumed and is quite stunning. Also available in crotch.  

Uses: Architectural woodwork and fine furniture.
