Origin: SE Asia

Characteristics: Background is a creamy blonde to tanish-yellow color that dominates the intensely contrasted black striping. Dark brown to black streaks and pencil lines form interlocking grain making “monkey ears” and other interesting patterns in the grain.

Use: Architectural woodwork and furniture.
