Characteristics: Heartwood is yellow-olive to chocolate brown, with variegated streaks and stripes. Most of what is available as veneer is flowery in appearance and rotary produced. . Tends to have some peck / pips / irregular marks and is sometimes found in a blistered / Pommele-esque figure resembling a burl.
Uses: Architectural woodwork and fine furniture.
