Latin name: Amphimas pterocarpoides, Amphimas ferrugineus, Amphimas klaineanus

Origin: West Africa

Characteristics: Heartwood is orange- in color, darkening to orange-brown with exposure.  Moderately coarse texture. Often times referred to as “white wenge”.

Uses: Architectural woodwork and fine furniture.
