Characteristics: Also known as Nigerian Satinwood. Heartwood is lemon to greenish-yellow, yellow-brown. Wood has an intensive lustrous surface but can be somewhat coarse. Logs can have extremely pronounced fiddle back or broken fiddleback figuring.

Use: Architectural woodwork and fine furniture.
