Origin: West Coast of the United States

Characteristics: A rich mocha to chocolate brown background color with a darker contrasting growth ring forming pictures when matched in faces. Cluster burls have more swirl than burl and the burls are in patches scattered across the face.

Use: Architectural woodwork, furniture, dashboards and musical instruments.
